VeriLAN Mobilizes High Speed Broadband Internet Services Portland, OR October 18, 2004 VeriLAN, Inc., an Oregon based wireless service provider, announces the ability to use its Broadband van to provide High Speed Broadband service within hours to anywhere with in VeriLAN's Portland coverage area. This van is capable of providing a mobile hotspot that can be used for events, streaming broadcasts and other mobile high bandwidth applications. It is capable of receiving up to 24Mbps via 802.16 a wireless connection and broadcasting a local Wi-Fi signal. VeriLAN provides Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) Wireless Wide Area Network (WWAN) services to Portland and Rural Communities. VeriLAN supplies Internet Service Providers (ISPs) with a faster bandwidth at less cost than DSL Service.
