Steven Schroedl - CEO and Founder

Steven Schroedl previously held the position of President and Owner of the Portland, Oregon based ISP PowerTalk. In 1998, Mr. Schroedl sold PowerTalk to Smart Networks and accepted a position with Network Elements Inc., a Beaverton, Oregon company specializing in optical transponders. His roll as CEO and Founder of VeriLAN is supported by 18 years of experience in the IT industry with a broad range of skills covering wired and wireless networks, core infrastructure, hardware and software development and personnel management.

Morgan Sackett - Vice President of Engineering

Mr. Sackett hails on over 12 years of experience in progressive networking technology. He has been responsible for leading geographically diverse teams to deploy and manage critical production systems for companies such as WebMD, ensuring successful implementation under tight deadlines. Adding his ability to tackle large projects to VeriLAN's repertoire has helped push VeriLAN to develop unique solutions for diverse customers. Under his guidance, VeriLAN has created the only global network interconnecting seven of the world's largest telecommunications companies. Mr. Sackett looks forward to using his skills to develop new solutions and technologies.

Rick Alfvin - Vice President of Business Development

Rick Alfvin was previously a founder and the VP of Operations for Appairent Technologies, Inc., specializing in standards based high-speed multimedia wireless technology. Prior to founding Appairent Technologies, he worked as Business Development Manager for the Eastman Kodak Company. For the past 7 years, he has been an active participant in the development of new wireless standards. He currently holds the position of Vice Chair of the IEEE 802.15 WPAN working group.

Edward McNair - Director of Marketing Communications

Edward McNair was previously the VP of Internet marketing for Respond2. Respond2 is one of the nations leading consumer direct marketing organizations where he works on technical marketing campaigns. For the past nine years he has been an adjunct faculty member at Pacific Northwest College of Art. He has also taught for Portland Community College, University of Oregon Continuing Education department, and has served on the curriculum committee for ITT technical institute.
